What type of plastic is it?** A: A thin plastic but my husband has been using it everyday since Christmas and no problems **Q: What material bristles made of?** A: I am not certain because the information only said, "soft shaving brush bristles". However, they appear to possibly be badger hair. I can say that this item is very well made. The previous brush I had was bought from a pharmacy and started losing bristles after about three days and only lasted a few weeks before it was completely unusable. I have had this brush for seven months and use daily. It hasn't lost the first bristle. **Q: Where is it made??** A: The bowl and stand are plastic **Q: Can this holder be stuck to the wall with waterproof command strips or something similar?** A: I have had some experience with Command Strips. Because you may be using this in a steamy environment, I would not recommend Command Strips. Also, for added stability, if you do attach this to a wall, I would recommend doing it in a corner.
