You'll want some sort of bucket for these if using them there. The packaging for an individual roll had a lot of information that should be read to learn more. Various bacteria are listed and the length of time it would take to kill the majority of each type. Also, the instruction details include information that this material should only be used on non-porous hard surfaces. In a home environment you probably should not disinfect some surfaces such as butcher block countertop or wood cutting boards. I opened the roll and it was very citrus smelling. Now, I thought it was pleasant but others might find it over-powering. The wipes are an adequate size and have a very soft feel, almost like cloth, - and are sturdy. After letting a countertop set for a short time, the manufacturer suggests rinsing with potable water. This is only needed on food preparation surfaces. Bathtubs and showers would not require a clear water rinse but they must have a non-porous surface according to the instructions. Basically, the wipes are more suited to commercial use in gyms, hospitals, schools, hotel bathrooms and less useful in homes. It will take quite a while to use a roll of 800 wipes, that's for sure. I cannot, of course, verify that germs were killed but the smell made the job pleasant and I know the counter is now pretty clean! 4 out of 5.
