A: Hi John F, the balti dish is 50mm deep, Hope this helps.

**Q: Can you heat food up in these.**
A: They cannot go in a microwave. You could put them in the oven but they will get extremely hot to touch, likewise on a hob.

**Q: Does the 20 cm refer to the base of the dish ( which is always smaller)or is it 20 com from one end of the top of the dish to the other end.**
A: The measurement is taken at the top rim. The base is around 15cm.

**Q: Can these be put in the oven? Has anyone done this?**
A: Yes but they get hot very quickly so oven gloves are required to grasp the handles. I put them
In the oven at low temperatures to keep food warm but not to roast/cook/reheat as I reckon the food would burn.
