All the way to the floor! Lol However it wraps around me at least twice! I have worn it as a blanket when I got bone chilly. So, after reading reviews, ordered X-large. Right after receiving, thought it is too huge and bulky. Washed it right away on hot wash/dry; it did not generate too much felt. It shrinked overall (~2" in height; it was up to the floor initially; I am 5.6). While still very roomy, it became slightly denser, very soft and as cozy as a robe can get. Plum color remained as is and looks nice. Also, the hood is very roomy. Loops for the belt are on two levels, which is convenient. Before washing, both were too low for me. after washing the top ones are right for me.
