And the trend continued in my life throughout my young adult and then not so young adult years. My wife was appalled. It only takes our kids a few minutes to fill them out (depending on how many pictures they decide to add), and of course, the recipients are usually delighted to get an actual acknowledgement of the gift they gave and what our kids thought of it.
