Fish require considerably less food as the water temperature drops to around 10C. **Q: is this good for gold fish in Aquarium too?** A: Sorry, I only have pond fish but I would expect the water to be well above 10 degrees C in an indoor aquarium so low temperature food would not be required. Feed normal goldfish food for aquariums. **Q: Do Koi stop showing interest in food in winter ?** A: I do not have Koi in my pond (I have large Orfe) but I do know that you you would not normally feed fish ordinary fish food in the winter. It is advised to feed them Wheatgerm food such as these. Mine do keep feeding, but if water temperature drops below 50 degrees Centrigrade, they should not be fed. Hope that helps. **Q: I have 6 small gold fish appros 4 inches long in a pond on a very large decked area should I feed them over the winter and when do I start Please n** A: I would only feed them when they are active and then only a little because if the food sinks to the bottom and remains there it causes the water to become unpleasant and could poison the fish. In cold weather they tend to go to the bottom of the pond and are not interested in food anyway. Wheatgerm is better in the winter as they can digest it better.
