The pens are nicely engraved. I made sure to keep it to 2 lines and it was easily readable. I asked the shipper to mix the colors instead of ordering one color and they obliged my request, although they did not respond by email or message. The chiffon bag they come in it quite large (like other buyers mentioned in their reviews) so I purchased lindt truffles and included 4 with each pen and gave as a gift.
