Those non aluminum, natural deodorants were a joke, as much as I wished they worked, no luck. I read up on the actual product website, and for someone like me, they recommended the liquid stink stick and the extra strength powder together, so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm also an amateur bike racer, so one day after it arrived, figured I'd test it out in the worst conditions: a hot race. I applied as directed, which was a little different than your normal sticks, but was shocked after a hard race to find NO SMELL. Shocked is the appropriate word. I've been using it for a month now, and still going strong. No white marks on clothes, no discoloration from aluminium, no smell, and safer. I am so happy I took a chance. I bought the travel size powder as I read elsewhere the full size doesn't close as well, and it is great. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Scent is nice! *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2013* I am a woman who sweats a TON, and have used both the lavender and cedarwood scents produced by Life Stinks. The lavender is obviously much more feminine and is intended for women. However, it is not as potent as the cedarwood, which in a practical sense leads to more applications; I probably go through the lavender three times as quickly! In terms of cost, the cedarwood is a better value. Yet if you want to smell like a woman (or have sensitive skin), go for the lavender.By the way, these sticks are about the size of a tube of lipstick. The small size is great for travel (or to stick in a purse for all those necessary reapplications).All in all, I really like this deoderant. However, I felt a lower rating was appropriate because it is high in price (shipping as half the price of the product?!) and low in strength.I also wish I knew if the unit were recyclable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this deodorant *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2013* I, too, am a woman who sweats a lot... I don't glow or perspire. In fact, I have to use this stick combined with the Extra Strength Lavender powder. I purchase both and the powder lasts longer but that's what I reapply instead of the stick. It smells good and with all of the emerging research out there about aluminum / sulfates connecting to possible breast cancer risk, I'm glad I made the switch (at my doctor's recommendation) to this natural product. I must say, however, that it's not great with wetness but living in Arizona, nothing is.
