Featuring large 44 mm skate wheels for smooth tracking, an adjustable hardened nail for precise depth control, and a contoured aluminium handle for ergonomic comfort, this tool is assembled in the USA and trusted by bricklayers since 1890. ## Description This Marshalltown Brick Joint Raker is designed to remove the mortar between bricks by dragging the tool over the brickwork, getting the pin in the middle of the raker to scrape away at the mortar. This raker has large 1 3/4" stake wheels attached to a strong aluminium handle which is contoured to fit the hand. The hardened nail can be adjusted to the required depth and can be securely tightened to stop it from moving. ## Features - Rakes Mortar Joints: removes excess mortar from between bricks quickly and evenly, leaving a clean recessed joint ready for pointing or repointing - Skate Wheels: large 44 mm (1 3/4 in) skate wheels roll along the course so the raker tracks straight without scoring the brick face - Adjustable Depth: the hardened nail adjusts to the depth you need, so every joint on the wall is raked out to the same line - Aluminium Body: strong 216 x 76 mm (8 1/2 x 3 in) aluminium handle is contoured to fit the hand and squared off at the end for control - Replaceable Nail: the nail is a standard hardened nail, so a worn point can be swapped on site and the tool goes on working ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00002N5PM | | Best Sellers Rank | 32,947 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 152 in Flooring Accessories 4,550 in Hand Tools (DIY & Tools) | | Brand Name | Marshalltown | | Colour | Multi-colour | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (623) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00035965055024, 00035965255028 | | Grip Material | Aluminium | | Handle Material | Aluminium | | Handle Type | Contoured Aluminium | | Head Material Type | Aluminum, Steel | | Head Size | 1.75 inches | | Included Components | 1 | | Item Highlight | Rakes Out Mortar Joints Ready for Pointing, Aluminium Body, 44 mm Skate Wheels, Adjustable Hardened Nail, 89 | | Item Type Name | Marshalltown 89 Brick Joint Raker | | Item Weight | 8 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Rollins & Sons Ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | 89 | | Model Number | Marshalltown - 89 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Rake Type | Masonry Rake | | UPC | 035965055024 | | Unit Count | 1 Piece | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Marshalltown - **Colour:** Multi-colour - **Handle material:** Aluminium - **Head material:** Aluminum, Steel - **Item weight:** 8 Ounces ## Images ![MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, 216 x 76 mm, Aluminium, Assembled in USA - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51v1OZGi4DL.jpg) ![MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, 216 x 76 mm, Aluminium, Assembled in USA - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31rpKEmlqjL.jpg) ![MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, 216 x 76 mm, Aluminium, Assembled in USA - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31DpUpAejeL.jpg) ![MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, 216 x 76 mm, Aluminium, Assembled in USA - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31ofR1oM4nL.jpg) ![MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, 216 x 76 mm, Aluminium, Assembled in USA - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31+htA3PdzL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - MARSHALLTOWN Joint Raker, Masonry, 8 1/2 x 3 Inch, Aluminum, Made in the USA, 89 - MARSHALLTOWN Beaver Tail Brush, Black Horsehair Fibers, 13 1/2 Inch Length, Masonry, Concrete, Made in the USA, 6517 - QLT BY MARSHALLTOWN QLT Joint Rakers, Contractor-Grade Steel, Made in the USA, 93 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/56378960-marshalltown-joint-raker-216-x-76-mm-aluminium-assembled-in](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/56378960-marshalltown-joint-raker-216-x-76-mm-aluminium-assembled-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
