I read some reviews of how they came in dull and the color was not as pictured. Did people read the directions?! Roses grow with a few layers of protective petals (new to me) you have to peel the first couple of layers off thus revealing the beautiful color and helping them bloom and open. They are very sturdy, the stems are thick and feel very strong. I've looked at prices in local stores and these are priced better or at least the same. I bought roses from a local store at the same tie i got these and they are already dying. The only thing I can say as a negative is they are not the pink that I wanted or in the picture. These are very dark pink almost red, but they are healthy and still in great shape.
