We could not, for the life of us, understand what went wrong with installation- but they never properly opened so the shelves were just falling off the wall. They are heavy duty and true to the image presented in the product description. The hardware has issues. First, the anchors provided are expansion anchors used for concrete walls. Only use them if you are mounting the shelf on a concrete backed wall. They will not anchor in drywall; so you'll need to pickup some real drywall anchors (use toggle bolts for this application) .
