**Q: Will 4” crimped slide into this connector?**
A: Yes.  Not all the way, as it would in a galvanized or aluminum female end, but it will go in far enough to connect with screws and/ or tape.  It will work, not perfectly... but satisfactorily.

**Q: If I have a piece of 5" pipe coming out of the wall and a 5" hose, does this piece go on the INSIDE of those two or OUTSIDE? Trying to join them.**
A: Inside. I used aluminum tape to seal duct on both houses. Pulled insulation together and taped that. Then wrapped the entire joint with duct sleeve insulation. Joint is sealed with zero moisture.

**Q: Is this meant to fit inside 6” duct or over crimped 6” end?**
A: It fits inside the duct.
