Excellent value for the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Damp on Delivery *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2022* First off, when I was younger, I was a leathersmith - cutting, tooling, lacing, hand-sewing and forming leather - making everything from belts and wallets to holsters and chaps. I can no longer do that since I have arthritis in my hands, but I am very familiar with how to make quality leather items.The item was tightly taped into plastic, which made me a bit uneasy about moisture in the product. Sure enough, when I unwrapped it, the leather was damp to the touch. Not a deal breaker, as leather can take some moisture. I also discovered that several of the rivets showed signs of corrosion. Again, not a deal breaker as these can be polished up. I did not notice any mildewing, which means either the leather had not been damp long or it was treated, which brings me to my next point . . .The bag has a pervasive chemical smell, which is not overpowering, but is very noticeable - even after being aired for 24 hours. And, after handling the bag, the odor remains on the hands until some time later or I wash them. I hope this will fade with time. It is definitely NOT a leather smell.Finally, the bag is not sturdy. When you make an object such as this, you make certain areas stronger and thicker to hold up to wear and stress. Because of its designed use, the shoulder strap will not hold up long. The attachment points for the strap are actually lighter than the strap itself - the thickness of leather I would have used for a liner instead of a stress point.
