A: 5T has slightly shorter arms and legs.  A size 5 has slightly longer arms and legs. This was explained to me by a Carter's employee.

**Q: Are they warm and insulated with warmness?**
A: They are soft cotton, not insulated,
but they are warm.  My grandson loves them.

**Q: Do they run true to size?**
A: Ordered a size 8. The top looks true to size, but the pants were so long, they looked like they would fit a 12 year old.

I didn't pay close enough attention to the product details on this listing because I didn't realize the skeleton part of these pajamas glow in the dark. But it was a fun surprise and my kids LOVE them.  They aren't quite as soft as I would have expected, but that doesn't seem to bother my kids one bit.

Bought these for my 10 and 5 yr old grandsons I would def but up a size like everyone says but otherwise very nice came fast boys love them and the glow in the dark which the kids love
