You DO have to be prepared for it to dye your life as well as your hair for a little while, but it IS a temporary colour, it comes off things. When I used it back in the day I'd clean the shower right after dying it so as not to annoy anyone. This time I live alone and so just didn't bother to clean up, I was surprised when on my next shower almost all of it came off the wall of its own accord. The rest came off easily the next time I cleaned the shower. It comes off skin easily too, although I'd recommend vaseline around the hairline before dying. I actually managed to get some on the white painted wall at one point and it came off with an alcohol wipe. The only place I have trouble getting it off is my finger nails. The colour is much more vibrant than I expected, clearly grey hair agrees with it, I'm very happy with it. It's very easy to apply and was gentle on my newly grown hair. I’ve used many many colours over the years and this is the only one that has strongly taken to my hair. i DID use bleach for my brightest sections, admittedly for the most vibrant results bleach is a must for any dye.
