The guide to set the spread rate is cheap and didn't stay at the setting I wanted, repeatedly. 3. The two sliding flaps at the bottom of the hopper that regulate spread rate didn't close completely so they leaked and wasted fertilizer. 4. Fertilizer spread primarily to the right side of the hopper rather than evenly across the 180° spread that it should have provided. 5. Fertilizer spread only about 2-3 feet to the side, often less than that. 6. A specific spead rate setting did not provide the same actual spread rate each time it was selected. 7. Because of these problems, I was always unsure if all of my lawn received the desired fertilizer coverage. I had an older, much higher quality Agrifab spreader for many years of great service, but a part broke that was no longer available, so I decided to try another spreader from the same manufacturer. One more example of inferior quality in many of today's products, and over-priced for what I got.
