## Description

The Catit PIXI Fountain provides your cat with a continuous source of fresh, purified water. The PIXI offers multiple drinking options to entice picky drinkers: calm flow, stream (with spout) and bubbling top. The featured drip collection zone helps stray drops of water to flow back into the reservoir. PIXI’s little nose is a backlit water level window and with a water level window this adorable, you’ll never lose sight of how much water is left. Fill the reservoir until the water level reaches the top of the whiskers, which marks the reservoir’s maximum capacity. The pump is equipped with a sensor that detects when the water level is too low. At that point, the fountain will shut down automatically, to prevent the pump from running dry. PIXI’s nose will also flash red when the water level inside of the reservoir is too low. Once the water reservoir is refilled, the fountain will start running again. Since the fountain pump is suspended in the water, it doesn’t vibrate as much against the reservoir and hardly makes any noise. While wear and tear can cause pumps to grow noisier over time, ours has a durable ceramic bearing that will keep it running smoothly and silently for much longer. Thanks to the bowl in front, your cat is able to drink at all times, even when the fountain is turned off. The fountain’s drinking surface is wide and shallow, so that it doesn’t place any stress on your cat’s sensitive whiskers. The fountain also includes a filter that cleans your cat’s drinking water in three ways. First, cotton mesh filters out debris. Second, active carbon removes odors and impurities. Third, ion exchange resin softens tap water.

El veterinario nos recomendó que para que el gatete tomara mas agua, compráramos una fuente, al principio no le hacía caso, pero a partir del segundo día y hasta hoy, se la pasa tomando agua, lo cuál resulta muy beneficioso para su salud. Elegimos este modelo ya que conseguir recambios resulta sencillo. Tiene un diseño muy bonito, queda bien en cualquier parte y no ocupa mucho espacio. Además al estar conectada directamente a la corriente, nos aseguramos que siempre está funcionando. Es bastante silenciosa y tiene dos opciones de salida de agua, modo chorrito de fuente o tipo bebedero. Y el agua sale fresca lo que asegura que en días calurosos nuestro gato pueda tener agua siempre fresquita. La limpieza es general es sencilla, ya que son pocas piezas. Lo que tiene un poco de más trabajo es la limpieza del motor de la fuente, se debe limpiar cada 3 - 4 semanas a conciencia, si haces esto, tendrás fuente para rato y un gatito más saludable.
