Vintage Heron Art w/Mat -- Unframed Matted Print One in a series of 30 American woodland animal and bird illustrations available  "Great White Herons, Spring" Vintage, mint-condition James Lockhart print (attached to a new, bevel-cut off-white mat) Finely detailed 1970s artwork: White egret colony in their marshland territory     Published 35 years ago on heavy, artist approved, superior quality, textured paper Mat size: 11"x14" exterior mat, 8.5" x 11.5" bevel-cut interior window Print size: 9"x12" Frames not included   You will receive: One 35-year-old book plate (blank on reverse) in excellent gift-worthy condition, attached to a new, archival quality mat. This unique, ready-to-frame set fits 11x14 frames.  James Lockhart (1912-2005) was a popular 20th century wildlife artist. He began sketching the flora & fauna he loved to observe while hunting, fishing and exploring America's back country as a child.  His original paintings hang in the Smithsonian Museum.
