The running watts (15A X 120V) would be 1800 watts?** A: Supposedly. It draws way more than stated. Had to use 6500w generator , then it ran fine. **Q: does this have a soft start?** A: No, it doesn’t. Mine has been a great saw. I used it to make all the cuts on a stone house. So much more dependable than a gas cut off saw. **Q: Has anyone tried using this saw on a generator? If so, what size generator and was it able to handle the load?** A: You need a minimum of 15 amps to struggle through, 20 amps for normal operation. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Cut Above the Rest! *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on 19 October 2023* I recently purchased the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This saw has exceeded my expectations in so many ways, and I'd like to share my positive experience with it.First and foremost, the price of the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw is fantastic. It's an incredible value for the money, especially when you consider the quality and performance it delivers. In comparison to other concrete cutter saws on the market, this one is a real steal. I was amazed at how affordable it was, and it didn't compromise on quality.Speaking of quality, this saw works like a charm. I also invested in a Makita E-02543 16" Diamond Blade to go along with it, and together, they cut through the concrete as if it was butter. The blade is sharp, and the motor is powerful, making even demanding tasks a breeze. I used it to cut a 38" x 86" hole in my 10" thick foundation to put in a door, and it handled the job with ease. One thing to note, though, is that you should ensure you are running the saw on a 30-amp circuit. I made the mistake of initially trying to use it on a 20-amp circuit, and it kept tripping the breaker. Once I switched to a 30-amp circuit, I had no further issues, and the saw ran smoothly without any interruptions.Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the Stark Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw. It offers great value for the price, works like a pro, and the only minor hiccup can be easily addressed by using the right amperage circuit. This tool, along with the Makita Diamond Blade, made my foundation-cutting project a breeze, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable concrete cutter saw. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow *by A***R on Reviewed in Canada on 13 July 2023* Amazing! I don’t have enough good things to say about this saw. Renting a saw here is $200/day… + $50/day for a blade. Use a dedicated 20amp circuit breaker will only trip if you blind the blade significantly. Much better than dealing with fumes from a gas powered in your house.16 inch blade is so much nicer than the standard 14 inch… gives an extra inch deep cut which is extremely helpful.Finished two jobs already which would have cost thousands to pay someone else to do, so this saw has easily been paid for within a week of use! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saw is heavy but cuts like a beast! *by D***H on Reviewed in the United States on 2 September 2024* had to cut 2 windows through concrete wall worked very well. Did pop the circuit breaker a couple times. had to get a water shut off valve at the local big box store for about $9. One of the water lines popped off as soon as i turned the water on but was able to put it right back on no problem. The saw is heavy. It did the job well in spite of me never having used 1 before. I am very mechanically inclined. Take your time let the saw do the work. ## Frequently Bought Together - Stark 3200W Electric 16" Concrete Cutter Saw Circular Wet/Dry Guide Roller w/Water Line Attachment (Blade not Included) Cut Off Saw, Demo Saw, Disc Cutter, Power Cutter - ALSKAR DIAMOND USA ADLSS 16 inch Dry or Wet Cutting General Purpose Segmented High Speed Diamond Saw Blades for Concrete Stone Brick Masonry (16") - VTXMax VSS 16 inch Dry or Wet Cutting General Purpose Power Saw Segmented Diamond Blades for Concrete Stone Brick Masonry (16") --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/568659500-stark-3200w-electric-16-concrete-cutter-saw-circular-saw-concrete](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/568659500-stark-3200w-electric-16-concrete-cutter-saw-circular-saw-concrete) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
