If you are referring to the Boy’s sizes, the Boys Large comes with as small cup abd the Boys XL short comes with a Medium cup. The adult Large is going to be the largest cup size we off that is paired together with a short. Material feels slightly different and of a better quality, fit is good and i'm sure will provide some level of protection when wearing a box - however these will never provide as good a fit as a dedicated protective cup. But they are no doubt useful for short sparring sessions!!
