Review: Life-changing Aid For A Heavy Problem Drinker - I’ve had intense anxiety (social and general) for as long as I can remember. Years ago I turned to alcohol to help—a couple of drinks when I felt anxious, or before a social situation calmed everything down, and I felt as though I could manage. My epiphany occurred when my senior dog had a seizure, and to cope, I begged my partner to go and pick up a pint of alcohol, just to get through the worry and fear (she’s okay now). Research and consult your doctor before adding any supplement, especially if you intend to take more than the recommended amount. I began with two (the highest recommended dose) and did not increase that dose until 24 hours later. Review: Helps with sleep - As I have gotten older good sleep is harder to come by. I researched that L-Theanine would help with that and be better than taking melatonin. I am happy to report that it does a nice job helping me get mellow. I seem to be able to achieve longer deep sleep and I still can wake up in the morning without feeling drugged or hungover like regular sleeping pills do. I trust this company and have a few other products from them and think it is a great product.

As I have gotten older good sleep is harder to come by. I researched that L-Theanine would help with that and be better than taking melatonin. I am happy to report that it does a nice job helping me get mellow. Did you know that L-Theanine can help with anxiety in addition to several other optimal health benefits. I have been so pleased with this product! Since this product helps with both rest and clarity, I gave it go to see if it would help with anxiety, which I suffer have from time to time. I hate to take prescription meds and this product has helped me cut back on nearly every medical prescription. As a middle-aged woman, I am thrilled! Thanks Sports Research! Another update on the benefits of this awesome product! On nights that I have trouble sleeping and I feel exhausted in the morning and need a little nap, but feel too stressed to sleep, I will take one tablet of L-theanine and it will help me to relax and take a little nap if needed. If a nap is not needed, my mind is still more sharp and clear than it would be without this product. Interesting how it can both help me relax and sharpen my focus! Great product Sports Research! Update: After numerous months of using this product, I am pleased to report that it works! I use L-theanine to help me to relax and go to sleep at night. I take it about 30 minutes before putting my head on the pillow and usually it puts me out and I wake feeling rested! Thanks Sports Research! I purchased the L-Theanine because a friend said it helps her to fall asleep. Skeptical, I researched and purchased the Sports Research brand because of high ratings and the fact that it was made with coconut oil, etc. It did not disappoint! I have been able to relax and fall asleep without any other aids or medication since using this product. It also calmed my scalp psoriasis! Nothing has helped that in over 10 years. Impressed, I then ordered the SR Biotin made with coconut oil; between the two, I am sleeping better and am no longer constantly scratching my head! Yay! Update: still Love this product! I use it to help me to relax or to sleep. Works like a charm.
