I can't say definitively or not as to whether that came from changing my fitness routine (I started P90X3 3 weeks ago), adding the protein powder, which protein powder it was (if either) that affected my gains, or if I would have made the same gains without the protein powder. There are too many variables to say that this particular hydrolyzed whey protein vs the other brand was what made the difference all said and done. However, I have noticed a clear benefit in energy, muscle recovery speed, and muscle gains since adding hydrolyzed whey protein powder two months ago, so I've chosen to stick with it. I'm really picky about taste for my protein mixes and this one is definitely the 2nd best I've ever had. My only knock on this is that it was a little salty to me. Maybe I just need to shake the container up so that it all mixes better. The salt taste was surprising because it has the same amount of sodium as the previous brand I used to drink. One surprising pro was how easily this mixed/blended with cold water.
