finished this book during the winter season to practice shadow work, and each chapter and activity is concise and straight to the point. it’s helped really open up past feelings of suppression, wounds that were never fully resolved and to help develop speaking up without shying away from what you feel and think. highly recommend especially if you’re new to self help books - this is a lot more practical vs other books that go on about their own personal experiences or clients which in itself can be draining lolthis book is for anyone who likes journaling and hashing it out in writing before practicing speaking, i use separate pieces of paper to expand some of the prompts. and now i continue to refer to this book as a guide and address each of my relationships now through kai’s structures. thanks kai!
