This is an awesome computer for the price. It comes in a VERY large package with plenty of padding/foam. I'm not very knowledgeable about computers, but I was surprised how straightforward it was to set it up — I expected it to be more complicated, but thankfully not.I was a console gamer on Xbox and grew tired of the base game of RDR2. This computer is great for downloading mods, and now, I have plenty of mods for RDR2. It's neat how you can connect your controller to the PC and play, along with using my old TV that was for my Xbox, now my PC monitor. The frame rates are noticeably smoother than console, but I do have some stutters, though that could be with all the mods I have installed for my game, but it's still looks good overall.The userfaces and everything to the computer are excellent. It doesn't make much sound, the fans work very well and haven't even felt the computer get hot yet. All in all, it's been a positive experience, though with some learning curves since I'm new to PC gaming. Based on my experiences with the STGAubron, this is an excellent PC to invest in — I've been having a blast with it. ### ⭐ What's to like about this boat anchor? *by F***S on March 6, 2024* Ok, first off, I'm fairly PC savvy and somewhat technical, but right out of the box you knew something was off. Upon first bootup, you need a LAN cable to connect so the initial setup can be completed. What? Who has a LAN cable lying around, I did, but most won't. Ok, so I schlep the equipment over to my WIRELESS router so I can connect the cable to it. Continue on setting up Windows and the cheap bluetooth & WiFi dongles that come with it are as cheap looking as they come. I did not realize there is no built in WiFi on the motherboard or internal NIC card, but OK. Cannot get the internet to work. Finally gave up and bought a WiFi booster connection for an extra $30. Finally got WiFi working the next day. Then connection problems happened. Windows explorer cannot read my external HDD, tried all USB ports. iTunes cannot recognize phone in USB ports. Then finally got WiFi and sound working, but super fancy video card & sound cannot synch up videos. I mean, cmon, this is the Ferrari of parts and I have to watch a Youtube or internet video and the sound is almost a second behind the video. I tried everything, tweaking card, display, sound, nothing worked. This was not related to the internet lagging or whatever because I had saved videos on my drive & that didn't work properly either. Very frustrating that I would need to go through all these hoops just to get basic PC functions to work properly. And I never even tried to load a super graphical intensive video game yet because of these issues. Why bother. End result, returning the PC and getting a well known, recognizable brand PC that may cost more, but worth it. And there's no instructions whatsoever for any setup, aside from how to take the case off and look at all the pretty colors inside the very large case. I admit I was influenced by the prettiness of this PC and the parts sounded great, but you need to be a techie to get everything working & tweaked the way it should be working right out of the box. To say that I am tired of having to deal with the complexities and mismatches of homemade PCs (or any PC) is an understatement.My last PC finally gave up the ghost over Thanksgiving. So, I ordered this PC for myself during the holidays. It did take a week to get to me. But, I am very happy about several things about buying this computer.• It arrives, fully-assembled, in an unassuming box that is not larger than it has to be, and the computer is inflate-packaged. (You do have to pull some of the inflate-packaging out from inside the PC, and peel the glass protectors off.)• The glass. It's real glass. Heavy glass. Held on with sturdy thumb-screws. And the view inside, and the overall esthetic of the PC, is beautiful.• The ports and controls are so sleek and nice. The outside of this PC looks no different or more complicated than you normal flat-screen television these days.I have and had absolutely no patience for any shenanigans from any computer, so I pulled this sucker out of the box, pulled off the packaging, threw it where my last PC was, plugged it in, and threatened it to act any way other than smooth like butter.It did not disappoint. I hit the power button for the first time, and it lit up, and it was completely silent, and the PC was at the desktop screen within 30 seconds. I am a gamer, so I fired up my favorite game. Smooth like butter.The Bluetooth capability of this PC comes in the form of a dongle that is in a separate bag. I've had so-so experiences with dongles like these in the past, so I sighed when I first saw it. But, that turned out good, too. The dongle plugs into any of the USB ports. I immediately had it find my wireless wall-mounted speaker, and it's been good ever since.The only downside is that it comes with a remote control for the colors of the fans. I guess we are sliding back into needing a remote control for everything. I considered just turning off the lights (which is an option), but the dark blue has such a nice cool feeling to it, so I left it on that. But, you can switch between, like, eight different colors, and, like, eight different patterns. I did not spend more than thirty seconds on this part of the computer, and I threw the remote control into the bottom of some drawer.The price is really good, too. If you look up the individual specs of this PC, and piece it together yourself, you will end up spending probably almost twice as much. At least 50 percent more.I am willing to pay a lot of money for peace of mind. In this case, the peace of mind did not cost nearly as much as I expected it to.In short, it's been running for something like two months straight now. I've restarted it a couple times just out of maintenance, but I have not gotten a single error message or errant beep.I don't think I missed anything important.
