We have had a fully charged unit on standby on several occasions to deter squirrels from the bird table. If you are storing the unit for long periods, make sure there is some suitable silicone lubricant on the seal or it can get stuck if it gets too dry. Delboy **Q: Has anyone bought one this year & did it leak?** A: I got mine earlier this year. If by leak you mean does water come out if the nozzle if you hold it vertically, nozzle down, yes. I use mine to scare squirrels off the bird feeders so I always have it full but stand it nozzle down in a bucket of water. If you mean does it leak from the top end, no mine doesn't. Hope this helps. **Q: Can I fill it and then leave by the window so it's ready to go when I see an invader? Or will the water leak out?** A: I found the water did leak out, it is very stiff to use and jams frequently. By the time you get going, the cat is long gone! **Q: Anyone use this for filthy seagulls please ?** A: Hello, not sure if you mean to clean them or to scare them off... If the latter then yes it works well for this depending on how far away they are of course. The roof of a 2 storey should be no problem for example. ## Frequently Bought Together - Water Blaster XLR Water Cannon - The Incog Water Gun - long range water guns with 32ft water jet - 1.2L fast fill tank capacity and 3 stealth designs for surprise water soaker combat --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/57001387-water-blaster-xlr-water-cannon](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/57001387-water-blaster-xlr-water-cannon) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
