Review: Great Duck house. Ducks love it! - I have three Indian Runner Ducks and so I bought the small one since it holds up to 25 pounds. Easy to put together. Yes, it had a few chips but that's normal. There was no major damage. I picked this house because of three reasons: the top opens up for easily egg collection, it had a small window which I can open for air flow and close if to cold, and the floor comes up in two pieces for easy cleaning. Because the floor is like a privacy fence lets good air flow its great during the summer. My ducks can stand really cold weather, they swim in the winter so it works great because ducks need air flow since they build up a lot of moisture but you wouldnt leave any other kind of pet out during the winter because they won't still warm enough. Came with door flap but I don't use it.
Review: Tortoise House - Bought this for my tortoise and it works great. It's just the right size and was really easy to build. Installed a heat lamp to keep her warm for the winter. I'm so happy that she now has a safe, warm and dry place to stay out of the weather.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the cedar wood treated for the weather?**
A: Ours sat in a wooded area for 6 months and there was no damage to the wood. I believe cedar is naturally water resistant.

**Q: With an asphalt roof, does the inside heat up a lot in summer? i’m in bakersfield ca. summers are 110.**
A: Yes if sitting out in sun.  Does best in a shady area or on a porch.  You can pop out the piece of ‘window’ plastic for more ventilation or buy a small cooling unit and install inside (will need access to power).

**Q: It says insulated but it’s not insulated?? Confused?**
A: I think saying insulated is because it’s wooden and has flaps to block off any air coming in the doorway. It’s very warm for my German Shepherd. She will lay outside the house if it’s not terribly cold. It doesn’t have “insulation” it’s just built with insulating materials. I would def recommend it! We are very pleased with it.

**Q: Can my 60lbs Rottweiler move around inside ok?**
A: I would doubt that a dog that sie would fit, let alone be able to move around.

This is a very nice house for the feral cat in our neighborhood. My problem is the hinges for lifting the roof and holding it up are bending and I need replacements. Made of very inferior quality. Can I get them from your company or can you suggest where I can get them. D Timke Porterfield, WI
