**Q: Can it hold beans too, or just dry beans?**
A: The bag can hold a variety of items, not just food.  However, if you are going to use for long term food storage the items need to be dried and sealed correctly.   Any items, such as a green been that retains moisture will mold and spoil over time.

**Q: Do you have to heat seal them below the zip lock for proper long-term storage?**
A: No above the zip lock. Then when you open them up you only have to cut off the part that has been sealed and then you still have the ability to use the Ziplock portion to open and close the bag

**Q: Do I need a vacuum sealer machine to use these mylar bag property?**
A: We found that using a handheld vacuum with a nozzle extension to pull out as much air as possible and then sealing with a $10.00 flat hair iron worked amazingly well!
It is much easier with two people working in tandem (one to vacuum and one to seal) but can be done by one person. They are great quality bags.

**Q: How many oxygen absorbers do you use per bag?**
A: These bags come with 15 pack 2000cc oxygen absorbers, so you just need to use one for per bag.
