Cleans the glass well and stays magnetised and floats if you drop it. Wouldn't recommend using on a tank much larger than 25l as magnet isn't strong enough, however works well in small tanks. Would recommend. ### ⭐ Might not even have a Magnet in it! *by J***N on 13 February 2014* Usually the idea of a Mag-Float is that it is primarily magnetic and secondarily it will float, it is at this point i might recommend the manufacturer changes the name of this truly awful product to 'Float-Mag'. The reason for this suggested name change is thus, the products floats a lot more then it is a magnet, merely the slighted movement across the glass to clean away some of that pesky algae and whoooosh, there goes the float back up to the top of the tank. As a result i too journey towards the surface to retrieve the float, only to get it back in place and resume cleaning when whoooosh back to the top you go.This ballet could have continued for a while instead each time slowly grinding away at my resolve, making me wonder why on earth i have decided to keep fish in the first place. i decided to take swift action, i ordered i different Mag-Float and this one went in the bin.in conclusion if you want to waste both time and money, or if perhaps you have nothing better to do then constantly retrieve the float during cleaning of your tank then i suggest you purchase this item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by D***. on 25 March 2014* Good product does what it says on the tin, would reccomend this product to anyone who has a fishtank.
