Got this first; was considering the $1000 plus AllClad set, but even the reviews on their own website say their customer service is extremely poor. Decided to try this, and was sufficiently impressed to buy the 12" skillet; 12" saute; and 3 pot set. The 12" is all the pan most will ever need, unless you - like me - like to cook an entire rack of bacon at once, or make extreme quantities of sausage gravy.
