We bough the 4x2 sheets to test them out and took them in coolers to the park to keep our drinks cold and they lasted all day!The fact that they are also flexible when in gel and frozen form, makes it so we can cover more surface area. My wife also had knee surgery a while back and has been using them to ice her knee. Lastly, we found out that you can cut them up into smaller sizes to fit whatever occasion you need. Single cell for a ziplock baggie, full size for a cooler, skinnier strips for icing joints, you name it.
