However if you want a bit more depth then go for the Dark Brown. I hope this helps as it is a wonderful product. **Q: What shade do I need for a light to medium oak table** A: I think English Oak should be ok **Q: I used this on my kitchen table & happy with the end result but found it scratches so easily and reveals the bare wood in places. What did i do wrong?** A: Every so often I strip all the old wax off and rewax I don't know why your table scratches I have never had that problem I do leave the wax about 30 minutes or so before I buff it. This is probably not much help but hope you get the right answer soon. **Q: Which colour would i need for indian sheesham furniture** A: Sorry but without seeing the furniture it is difficult to offer advice, the colour chart provided by the company is very good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fiddes Mellow Wax Furniture Polish 400ml - Dark Brown (English Oak) by Fiddes & Sons - Liberon Steel Wire Wool 0000 Ultra fine - 1 Meter Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/57237745-fiddes-mellow-wax-furniture-polish-400ml-dark-brown-english-oak](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/57237745-fiddes-mellow-wax-furniture-polish-400ml-dark-brown-english-oak) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
