The Heavy Dootie Bags will fit both the ST and XP pooper scoopers. These bag handles were designed to be shorter than conventional plastic store bags. Hence, the bag handles can easily be slipped over the left and right GoGo Stik hooks. The slack is adjusted using the orange gripper. Some folks may prefer to forego the use of the hooks when attaching the Heavy Dootie bag (or a real large plastic store bag) on the ST. In this case the handles can be directed under the GoGo Stik ST head and poked directly into the lower orange gripper. The more you push the bag handles into the gripper, the tighter the bag fit. The key to bag tightening adjustment is through the use of the orange grippers. MORE DETAILS: :-) The patented bag attachment system is very flexible and allows for the attachment of most any type of bag - those with handles or those with no handles. You'll find that the standard Dootie Bag requires little or no adjustment when placed onto the ST or XP pooper scooper. You'll may also find that the real large Heavy Dootie Bag may need the orange gripper to pick up and bag slack on either the XP and especially on the ST as described earlier. EVEN MORE DETAILS: :-) :-) The GoGo Stik pooper scoopers both ST and XP models were initially designed in 2013 to use the popular large plastic store bags (as well as bags without handles). Since there was a great interest in biodegradable or earth friendly bags, I later introduced the Dootie Bag followed by the Heavy Dootie Bag. You'll find that both Dootie Bags and Heavy Dootie bags are very large capacity bags. They are deep with side gussets. The gussets allow the bag to open up very wide and provide for large capacity cleanups. YOUTUBE VIDEO DEMONSTRATIONS: There can be a number of different ways a bag can be attached. You can see my daughter Courtney demonstrate bag loading. (I may even be on some of them too). For instance, the lower gripper can be used along with the hooks. Now, if you find a bag has really large handles, those handles can be looped under and over the hook and inserted into the upper orange gripper (on both left and right hooks). The orange grippers pick up the slack. If a bag is too loose, no matter what type of bag, stuffing the bag handles or part of the bag into the gripper will tighten it up on the GoGo Stik head. I buy a couple of boxes at a time and just opened a box from my most recent order. The manufacturer appears to have changed the material used to make these bags. They are no longer "heavy duty bags" and are now thin, flimsy and break easily. I no longer trust that each bag isn’t going to break on me. These are no longer worth the money spent on them and I’d rather use two smaller bags to clean up after my big dog than one of these.
