There seems to only be reviews by people given a discount to do so, which makes me not trust a single review here.** A: I had a pandigital which I loved but eventually it wore out and it started getting lines when I would scan a picture and this was basically because the lens was dirty but I decided to buy the small version of this scanner just because I have a real issue and I love to buy electronics and I can tell you that this is as good as the Pandigital that I bought. so the people say that theirrs didn't work it could just be a fluke or maybe the fact that mind did could be a fluke but I am thrilled with this and for $35 just can't be beat. I did not get it at a discount I wasn't given anything to evaluate it I am just one of those people that likes to try new things and I was very very pleased with this. **Q: Will the machine stop when you've filled up an sd card or usb memory drive?** A: Yes the scanner will stop and the red light will blink if the SD card or USB memory is full. It will not overwrite and replace the old images in the memory. **Q: Is it battery operated?** A: no it is not battery operated. Great Scanner tho. **Q: After scanning roughly 50 photos nicely, I started seeing a line on the scanned photos in computer. Anyone had this problem?
