Ideally, below 500us is "normal/good". 1000 is low end of borderline.This latency due to the drivers for these units, becomes an issue when under more load, with more programs open and things working, it will spike the latency up past 16,000us, and much past 8,000us, MY system (cant speak for other systems) on those spikes, will pause output to the USB3 ports just for a fraction of a second - the result being 1 or both of the screens will go black, for a second/part of a second.It's annoying is the result.It only happens under those certain high load conditions.(50% upwards Ram load, 45% upwards CPU load, especially when spiking to 100%)Outside of those conditions, it's a lovely product that does job very well and I'd imagine for the vast majority of people, they'll never see this issue.Add in the price, and I'd still buy them again.I'll keep an eye out for updated drivers, the issue may get resolved.It may just be the way HP have configured my laptop.(could be, I hate HP, will never buy another) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yes it does work with Windows 10,and no I wasn't paid to say so. *by F***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 12 October 2016* I admit I ordered this with misgivings and to be honest, after reading all the bad reviews, I didn't hold out much hope of it working. And sure enough, the first time I connected it to my Acer notebook, it didn't install - I thought this was probably to do with the fact that I'm running Windows 10. So I googled it and found it for sale on another UK site which had a link to the company's site. I downloaded the driver file - which is a .rar file, so if you haven't got an app to unwrap that, you just click on the file and Microsoft will take you to an app in the store to download. I unwrapped it, found and installed the driver, connected the computer to the TV and it worked immediately.I have to agree with another reviewer that the connection is ultra sensitive, losing the picture for fractions of a second at a time, but as the HDMI port on my computer is broken, this is certainly a better alternative than buying a new computer!This is the link for the drivers if anyone needs it... [...] ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does work with Windows 10 [UPDATED] *by R***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 15 September 2016* Hi, my laptop is Windows 10 and i installed the driver using the link above, i also tried the drivers on the disk but its not detecting anything at all. All my ports on my laptop are USB3 but nothing happens when plugging the device in. I really wanted this to work so i could use my laptop screen and 2 external monitors.If someone could suggest a fix i'll re-rate this as 5 stars.UPDATE:I reinstalled the driver using the link however it still doesn't work. I noticed the following in Device Manager (see attached picture)UPDATE 22/09/2016:I was contacted by the seller and they sent me a new driver, unfortunately it didn't work but we suspected that I have a faulty product. They are sending me another adapter free of charge so I'm looking forward to see if it works, if all goes well I'll amend my rating to 5 stars! Can't complain about good customer service!UPDATED 28/09/2016I recieved the new adapter. It is slightly smaller than the original but I believe I was sent the latest version. I installed this with the driver i was sent via email and amazingly everything works really smoothly! I tried to 'stress test' the adapter by unplugging it multiple times as soon as the connection was established and I cannot find a fault with the product. It does get slightly warm but thats expected as its driving another screen.
