Ruler is a beautiful vintage shade of red with more of a deep purple red tone than orange. Revolutionary comes out on me as a quite bright deep pink. Initiator is a deep dark pink. As I wanted a more everyday shade I tried seductress, but on me it came out very light, almost like the concealer lip look which I am not a fan on on me BUT you can mix the colours on your lip before it dries and seductress with a light dab of initiator over the top is the perfect ‘natural but better’ lip shade and one I will wear everyday for work! My only complaint is that the colour on the outside doesn’t reflect the actual shade inside so it’s been a bit of trial and error finding the best shades but the price point means I don’t really mind a few misses and will actual use all of them at some point. The best thing is the staying power! It is very easy to apply and sets quickly. Once dry it does not budge, you can literally rub your lips and there is no smudging etc. For the first hour it will leave a tiny amount of residue on a cup but this never shows on your lips. There is a slight stickiness but if you wait until it dries the lick your lips and let them dry I find that stops the stickiness. Yesterday I wore Ruler (my fav) all day for a Christmas outing, shopping, eating, drinking etc and after a full day and evening my lipstick was still perfect and I can’t say that for the rest of my makeup lol To remove, I use body shop camomile cleansing butter and a small dab removes it perfectly.
