I had to purchase the charger separately and still the scales didn't work and never have. Seller was very unhelpful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything I had hoped they would be *by J***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 February 2012* Still early days in terms of use but after scouring Amazon for a set of multi / general purpose kitchen / house / postage scales I chose these. I can say I'm not at all disappointed and quite happy I did, they've hit the bullseye for me.They unpack easily and feel rock solid which is a good thing having splashed £50, they are very easy to setup. Just pop the strong plastic top plate on the base unit and plug in the power supply (supplied in a separate box). Switch on and wait about 5 seconds as the scales zero themselves then they're ready to go. The box also contains a separate roll holder and an envelope holder which both store neatly on the scales when not in use.They're a good size in my opinion, a small enough unit to be easily accommodated when not in use whilst the weighing plate is still big enough to be practical for all but the most awkward of parcels at 20cm wide by 16cm deep.They react quickly to a weight being placed on them and have no problem reading very light objects of sub 10 grammes. I did a test on them using a few computer screws which weigh perhaps 0.5g each and sub 4g these scales are a little temperamental but really that's entirely to be expected. It is also a use these are clearly not designed for, only having a resolution of 2g but impressive nonetheless. I can't even pick fault with the display, normally I hate blue LEDs or back lights, having had appliances with bright neon blue LEDs that require welding goggles to see them clearly, but on this unit it's a very low intensity blue back light and the contrast with black LCD digits really works quite well.All in all I am very impressed with these and quite happy to recommend them by giving 5/5 stars ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb, accurate scales *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 November 2020* I bought these to let me weight my brewing ingredients in a bucket. If you need more than 2Kg, it starts getting expensive to get a set of accurate scales. Look no further - these are superb. Because the display is at an angle, you can easily see the weight with a bucket on top. As far as I can tell, very accurate. They are postal scales and so come with a clip on piece for weighing envelopes which I've also used.
