The material provides good grip and support. It’s not too heavy but it does have some weight to it. The biothane material makes it very easy to clean. Just needs a Clorox wipe and you’re good to go. They last a really long time

I also use a 10ft or 16ft version for when training trailing/tracking dogs and the quality is also the same. Easy to clean, does not develop smells…
