## Description

Sky Team is a co-operative game, exclusively for two players, in which you play a pilot and co-pilot at the controls of an airliner. Your goal is to work together as a team to land your airplane in different airports around the world.To land your plane, you need to silently assign your dice to the correct spaces in your cockpit to balance the axis of your plane, control its speed, deploy the flaps, extend the landing gear, contact the control tower to clear your path, and even have a little coffee to improve your concentration enough to change the value of your dice.If the aircraft tilts too much and stalls, overshoots the airport, or collides with another aircraft, you lose the game...and your pilot's license...and probably your life.From Montreal to Tokyo, each airport offers its own set of challenges. Watch out for the turbulence as this could end up being bumpy ride!

Superb, highly replayable cooperative game that truly merits its Game of the Year title, delivering ample challenge and excitement for an honest price. While suitable for kids aged 10+ - provided their first playthroughs are with an adult to learn the best logic for action prioritization - Sky Team is especially well-suited to grown-ups, in particular couples who would like to enjoy a relaxing game night free of turbulence in the cockpit. 🎲💥🤬 With that said, even younger children seem to enjoy the game when teaming up with parents. 👩🏼‍🏫 Setup and Learning Curve 👩🏼‍🏫 Allow an hour for initial setup and first playthrough. The rulebook, while complete, lacks practical turn examples, making the excellent Dized app tutorial essential. A QR code inside the box provides access, and using it will save you considerable time understanding and explaining the basic turn mechanic. The components are attractive and pleasingly robust. 🎲 Gameplay 🎲 Once you grasp the fundamentals, Sky Team is quick to set up and play, making it an excellent addition to any collection. Subsequent games clock in around 20 minutes, albeit much less if you manage to faceplant the aircraft. 🛬💥🤦🏼‍♀️ The game strikes an ideal balance between fun and challenge, with a well-designed planning phase providing sufficient action points to effectively mitigate bad luck through strategic deployment of rerolls and modifiers. 👨‍✈️ Warning for Aviation Enthusiasts 👨‍✈️ Pilots and diehard aviation fanatics should have a piece of duct tape - not included - firmly affixed across their mouths until they have come to terms with the fact this is not Flight Simulator or an actual commercial flight.
