I spent hours making connections for my security system and it seems like half the time the connections didn't work. This was after I slaved to get the wires in the proper order. I then switched to this product and all my issues went away. Been installing cabling for over 30 years. If you want to use pass-through style connectors buy major brand like Kline or Ideal. They work and are reliable I know they are a lot more costly but I've tried a number of cheaper brands and the failure rate is above 95%. I do wish there was a lower cost brand that was reliable but so far unable to find one. The pass through design is a great idea but for now we will stick with the old standard RJ45 connectors.
