The best before date is May 2023. **Q: what is the use by date on the 250g packs please** A: According to the package there is no use by date. However there is a best before end date which on my packet is OCT 2016,this date will be governed by when the packet is produced. I would think that a use by date would not be relevant as I would not regard tea in a foil container as being a perishable product. Thanks in advance.** A: We have chosen Typhoo Loose Leaf tea for many years due to its consistent flavour, strength and reasonably flexible brew time. We have recently tested 12 different Loose Leaf teas but none came close to Typhoo for an early morning cuppa. Some Loose leaf teas have quite a large leaf , I would say Typhoo is a crumb, not like the dust seen in tea bags. Go for a flavour that you like. **Q: Is it the real thing? Typhoo tea is British packed - yet this has foreign (very) print on it.** A: Most chicken we eat is packed and frozen in Thailand . most of our electric companies are foreign owned Typhoo is foreign owned but the tea quality has not changed for the 25 years plus I have been drinking it. Only problem is that loose Typhoo tea can only be purchased either via amazon or direct. It is marketed all over hence varied languages. Do not know where its packed but taste is same.
