It is used by the petroleum industry in their own storage systems. I use this to stabilize fuel in a generator. Every 14-months on the day, we fire it up to check the functionality - and every time it starts up and runs at full power without any issues. After the 1 hour runtime test, we drain and discard the old fuel for new...so I can't comment on how long this fuel additive will work beyond 14 months. Note - we do not use fuel with Alcohol mixed in. Before using this product, we constantly ran into fuel degradation problems. Generator is in an unregulated storage shed, so it gets hot/cold.
