Nakd bars are just not enough, they feel more like a chocolate bar while Trek had this really odd taste which we could never understand. Also Trek bars were never available and so we had to look for other options. We tried the Dr Food ones from Holland and Barrett but then found these and they absolutely hit the spot. They are filling enough to keep us going, not full of junk and actually taste good. We have tried all peanut, almost, cocoa, coconut and apple but peanut and cocoa ones are the best.However, they are expensive and its always good to keep an eye out as they are usually available on offer elsewhere. I usually have one as an in between meal snack with my coffee. They are perfect after a work out, or when you are travelling. But being that they are supposed to be more of a small 'booster' for nutritional purposes/properties (protein etc.) I eat half of one now, and the other half for the next time. I don't have these daily as they are quite dense and high in fat (I *have* to watch my fat intake for gall bladder issues). BUT - half before a workout has helped me *greatly* not only with energy and sustenance, but also preventing me from having a 'post workout crash'.
