I sprinkle a bit of this on the floor and crush it/step on it with the *cleaned/scraped* soles of my shoes (if your soles are dirty with a ton of wax on them, this product may be less effective). It can get quite messy (and leave a white powder trail when walking on carpet) but that is to be expected with a product of this nature. The container is large so I moved a little bit to a small container that is easier to carry around. I thought the price was expensive but the size is big enough to last a very very long time.

**Q: how many ounces?**
A: I think 11 ounces a little bigger than a small baby powder not a ma big as I pictured.

**Q: Will this work on tap shoes?**
A: yes you can. It will reduce slipping and friction on the floor.

**Q: Hi, I need pine rosin for making beeswrap.  Is this something I could use for that?**
A: No idea about the ingredients being compatible, but the rosin is pretty rocky . . . some rocks are 1", some smaller, some powder.  I use it for a dance studio and am not really happy about the size of the pieces.

**Q: How do you apply this to dance shoes if you don’t have a rosin box?**
A: I put it in a small shoe box and when you have your point shoes on you stand in it

Adds friction between my shoes and the slippery dance floor - which helps me feel more secure and dance better.
