It can then be registered on your home network. However there is one manual operation you have to do (which is listed in the very small print of its user manual). It needs to be trained on its radiator. All you have to do is to press the top button twice (once to get the unit alive to you and the second one to train the unit. Takes about 2 mins.From the app you can then name which room its in and any offset in temperature. Ie my units are near the floor and I have found that they need an ofset of -1.5C so that the middle of the room is at the temperature on the display.You MUST have an AP or other control unit (I used an AP) and its recommended that you also have a Switch unit to turn the boiler on when a rad unit needs heat.This is a MUCH better system than Hive which only allows for 4 zones. On this system every unit can be its own zone and it has its own timer and thermostat.
