They are so lightweight! Considering their length and that they are lacquered beads, I'm still surprised at how light they are. I've been wearing them for three weeks; no problem wearing them for a 12 hour day. The gold colored hooks are well balanced. I haven't had one try to escape my ear yet! No need for a securing back. The lacquered color is rich and even. I will definitely consider more pairs from Unkudu.The packaging is fabulous too. It comes in a branded flip top cardboard box. Inside is a felt pouch with an embroidered Ü. Untwist the cord to lift the flap and reveal a round red jewelry box.
