I bought this at a great price on a Black Friday event and saved nearly £30 The two carbon filters are not cheap bits of thin black foam like you get in some units but nice carbon granules similar to what’s used in the aquatic trade for filtration. As for the noise well what do you expect for a cooker hood with 4 speeds. 1st setting is very very quiet but the booster is like a jet taking off but hey that’s ok for me, it’s cleaning the air in my kitchen good. I too have only used half of vents supplied as I’m not venting it outside. I have seen a similar unit on offer at half the price but you get what you pay for and I like this product and it finishes off my kitchen. Review: Great product - It is a great product!
