I'm glad I didn't pay too much attention to the negative reviews. There are no missing numbers on the spaces, but I can see why people might think so.... you have to follow the blank spaces, sometimes a line might look like its breaking up two spaces- but it isn't. If you're painting it and it looks like just clumps of color, stand back and look! It blew my mind when I took a picture of it in progress... it looks completely different than when you are right up to it. The paints are supposed to be a bit thick- they are oil based. Don't mix with water, it's not watercolors. :) I love any kind of crafts, and I'm so glad I took a chance on this set.
