I prefer blocks now, but I have actually just used a glue gun and glued around the edges of this and turned it into a block, which has also allowed it to handle water paper. It stands up very well for laying down many layers of wax,and burnishing. I use mineral oil as a solvent and have had no problems. I love this paper for many uses. **Q: The image says this has 10 sheets, but the text information says 25, which is it?** A: it is 10 sheets. **Q: Are these pure white or more of an ivory?** A: The product is much closer to a "pure white" than to an ivory. I can see there is some visual shifting in most of the pictures, including the one I sent with my review. However, the paper has none of the slight yellow caste that usually accompanies "ivory" colored products. Therefore, consider it a "pure white." Also, the cost to try it is very reasonable. This brand still has a light texture on one side.
