It isn't the most secure. I've accidentally pulled the entire mount out of the CD slot when trying to take my phone off of it, but I've been more careful since then and it's been manageable. There are two points where the screws start to loosen (one for the mount into the CD slot, and one for the 360 rotation head), and you can usually see or feel it, so as long as you're wary of that, it's not too bad. There are better products out there, as I've had a different CD phone mount in my previous car that was more secure (maybe even too secure - it was tough getting it out!), but they are usually $6 or $7 more. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Missed the mark for me *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 10, 2018* This would probably work better if the phone mount was magnetic.The spring tension is so tight I feel one could damage the CD slot by over-tightening the holder.
