Cheaper than what my local health store charges for them, these quinoa flakes are great for making porridge.  I'm oat intolerant and so I'm always on the hunt for new cereal grain alternatives.  Although these can be used to make porridge on the hob in the traditional way, for speed, I prefer to make mine in the microwave.  I simply add my (dairy free) milk and microwave for about 3 minutes.  It has to be said that the porridge is not as thick or as creamy as oat porridge.  I eat with seeds, fruits and natural (soya) yogurt.  Not only delicious but healthy in the bargain!
